The colossally entitled HTC EVO Shift 4G is on the very brink of being announced, but has made a quick dash toward the limelight, in order to show of its new dress retail packaging.

Engadget have landed a heap of pics of the final retail package of the device (and, more importantly, the device itself), and confirm that it has no front-facing camera.

Like we’ve said before, it’s basically a T-mobile G2 in a different dress — which aint a bad thing at all.
