Fancy yourself a DSLR Filmmaker? Here's Your Chance To Prove It

These days, it’s easy to get your hands on a decent camera that shoots video. While most of them end up being used to shoot kid’s soccer games. But there’s a few out there that end up in the hands of amateur filmmakers, and the people at “Cinema Out of Your Backpack” are providing a venue for these artists.

The requirements are simple. The film can be at most three minutes long, and all the gear used has to fit in a backpack. The contest is open from January 1st to March 31st, with the best of the films being presented at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg, Germany. The Festival winners will receive free Vimeo Plus accounts and bragging rights.
