Yay Areaaaa!

Jeez. After writing about Sprint 4G launching in so many other regions, it feels a bit strange to write about it going live in my own locale: the Bay Area.

After a few fleeting appearances over the past few weeks, ol’ Yellow has just announced that their 4G/WiMax network will be officially fired up on December 28th in cities around the bay. If you live in San Francisco, Oakland, or San Jose, you’ll be good to go — if you live in any of the other cities in between, you’ll have to keep your fingers crossed, with Sprint lumping everything else into a “Silicon Valley and other cities throughout the Bay” category.
