    In announcing the new Mac App store at an event in Cupertino today, Steve Jobs revealed that Apple has hit 7 billion iPhone and iPad downloads from the iOS App Store. This is notable as the Apple  just announced 6.5 billion App Store downloads in September, a 3.5 billion jump in 8 months from January. Gulp.

    Maybe now they’ll do something about that iTunes interface?
