Today’s announcement from Apple seems like good news across the board; while the abstract restrictions on apps (like replicating functionality) have been tightened up a bit, the origin of the app is no longer inspected and, as Adobe points out gleefully, this means that apps developed in Flash are now A-OK.

Adobe also notes that they will be continuing development of the Flash Packager feature for future versions of Flash, so as long as Apple doesn’t pull a counter-switcheroo, this dev workflow is here to stay.

Just be sure to scrub any references to other platforms you might be developing for simultaneously. Apple is a jealous corporation.
