So your local camera store doesn’t have what you are looking for, you don’t want to visit a big box store, and you’re concerned about the shady practices of some online retailers? Well worry no longer – Nikon has launched their own online store, with (most) of their products available for purchase direct. There’s even an outlet store if you want pick something up at a discount.
They’ve got all kinds of other product in the store as well, from a Nikon branded beanie to a $10,000 600mm f/4G lens, and all those other pain in the difficult to find items like body caps, replacement lens covers, and all the other goodies that you can never find at the local camera shoppe. That being said, I always recommend you make your camera purchases from your local camera store – the sales people are more knowledgeable, and the after purchase support can’t be beat.
