Well isn’t this a shame. Microsoft was clearly trying to build up some viral buzz about an upcoming peripheral but a German web store failed to get the memo and posted what seems to be the Microsoft Arc Touch mouse a bit early. What’s more is that it doesn’t seem to live up to the hype. I mean, it seems like a fine mouse with a multi-surface sensor, 2.4GHz nano transceiver, and battery indicator but it’s no Magic Trackpad like the buzz seemed to indicate. It’s simply a next-gen Microsoft Arc travel mouse. That’s the problem advertising through the social medium — especially when your hawking a random mouse. [Notebooksbillinger via Engadget]
