    The midwife who pulled the Evo 4G and the Epic 4G through the mobile birth canal, Kevin Packingham, is leaving Sprint effective Monday. He is starting a new, unnamed company.

    Obviously this is a pretty big deal at Sprint. With the rise of the 4G phones they’ve offered the world a real competitor to the Verizon Droid family. However, if Sprint can’t maintain its steady growth in handset popularity, they’re going to have a tough 2011.
