He was just making a distinction between the way music is delivered to you (and how they can learn from each other). I guess he could have said “Radio and music accessed via the Internet…” but that does not roll off the tongue as easy.

What’s with this new piece of jargon “cloud based music”? The entire Internet works on the “cloud” principle, everything accessed via the Internet is “cloud” based.

great idea, love the idea of a hybrid model of music streaming with radio’s relevance for up to date news. This also will make the streaming service more engaging and could, in theory, keep users on the service longer for any given time.
