In Spain there’s a web that will eventually provide cupons on a mobile platform, wich is the way I think.

What http://www.oportunista.com did, was first building a large amount of offers and descount cupons for latter deliver them in other ways.

Here is Spain we are the champions of “No, I insist! I’ll invite you!” but cupons are growing fast. It’s not cheep, it’s just clever…

Perhaps one reason we don’t have a coupon culture in Europe, or the UK at least, is that coupons are looked down on as cheap and mean-spririted, whereas in the US they have less uptight attitudes towards coupons. In the most obvious mobile use of coupons, restaurants, I wouldn’t use them: if I am paying, I am the host, and coupons make me feel like an ungenerous host.
