Sigh. This is sad. I mean, I’m all about DIY solutions and making a quick buck, but please, build this thing yourself. An enterprising Etsy seller is charging $25 for what looks to be a poorly-constructed wood frame that is might improve the iPad‘s sound.

But really, I bet the iBox really does improve the sound of the iPad. The design gives the iPad’s speaker a chance to resonate, which in theory should make the sound a bit more rich and full. Obviously the frame also gives you a place to store some cables and props up the iPad. Still, once again, if you really need this contraption, make it yourself. [etsy via ohgizmo
