LG Ally release date and full specs revealed

Have you been hurtin’ for the mid-range, QWERTY-goodness promised by the explosion-powered LG Ally?

If so, I have news to sooth your aching soul: the Ally is going up for pre-order on May 13th, ready for a May 20th release.

Word is that the phone will run a near-vanilla “with Google” version of Android, with a few LG and Verizon touches thrown in for branding’s sake good measure.

Alongside the release dates, Boy Genius Report have also unearthed a full spec list, with the important bits being: an MSM7627 600MHz processor, an 800×480 TFT screen, 3.2MP camera with LED flash, 256MB RAM, 512MB on-board storage with a 4GB MicroSD card in the box, as well as a 3.5mm headset jack, and the usual WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and GPS.

Boy Genius Report have the full spec list, so if you love details, be sure to hit up the post I linked to, above.

Sadly, there is no word yet on price, but don’t expect to have to take out a second mortgage for this mid-range wonder.
