TechStars picks Startupbootcamp in Denmark as first Global Affiliate

Startupbootcamp in Denmark, has become the first “Global Affiliate” of the US based accelerator program TechStars.That means Startupbootcamp, run by 
Alex Farcet, will now be screening applications from startup teams across Europe.

Startupbootcamp is a European startup accelerator program based in Copenhagen which lasts for three months. . Over the course of the 3 month program, startup teams get micro seed capital, a free incubator environment, intensive mentoring from 50+ serial entrepreneurs and subject experts, and a chance to raise funding by the end of the program through pitching to 100+ investors. Hundreds of applications from all over Europe are currently being screened down to 10 quality startup teams. Startupbootcamp applications close by end of June and the first program runs from mid-August to mid-November.

Startupbootcamp was initiated by Rainmaking, a “startup factory” partnership which has created 12 startups in the last three years. Rainmaking originates from Denmark and has offices in London.
