Old news, but worth mentioning for a hot minute. You know that Major Nelson’s Xbox Live account was hacked at the weekend. Look, people are panicking in the streets!
No real details of the hack have been revealed, so it’s hard to say how you can protect yourself. Was it phishing-related? Some sort of exploit? Who knows!
The hacker, one ROID MONKEY, was offering to hack any Xbox Live account for $100. PayPal, baby. That’s what’s up.
At the very least, you hope this isn’t the start of some sort of hack-a-thon.
