    Likely to be a DNS mixup. It’s surely a little bit unfair to make a news story out of a technical glitch? (Although it does illustrate, once again, the dangers in depending on a centralized service – single points of failure were what the Internet was designed to avoid.)

    most-likely a temp dns config issue no? they’re probably moving servers, clicked the wrong thing for a second..

    Its working fine right now, I guess they forgot to pay their hosting fees, but I was expecting biggies like foursquare to own and manage their own servers.
