New set of headphones coming at you today. Well, not really new, but certainly more globally minded headphones. The Beats line from Dr. Dre is being bolstered with a special RED edition of the Solo HDs.
Nothing too exciting to speak of technically; the specs are the same as the other headphones in the Solo series. The HD designation simply means an integrated remote for volume and track control and a microphone for calls. And according to the RED blog, “at least $5 from every purchase being contributed to the Global Fund.” So you can feel good about dropping $229.00 on a pair of cans.
If you want them within the next three weeks, you’ll have to head over to HSN. But starting March 1st, they’ll be more widely available.
