Sanyo announced a couple of tasty XACTI camcorders a few weeks ago for the Japanese market. We praised the cams for shooting 1080p video and 14.4MP stills, but questioned whether or not they will ever reach the States. Well, good news. They’re on the way and should hit retailers sometime next month.

The model numbers are slightly different, though. The Japanese market CG110 will be called the CG102 here while the DMX-SH11 was renamed the GH2. The CG102 keeps all the same specs but the GH2 rocks a 10.2MP sensor instead of the 14.4MP of the big brother. Expect to pay $229 for the CG102 and $199 for the CG20.
