The 27-inch iMac, darling of all and sundry, are having some shipping issues. Orders are currently backed up two weeks and the litany of problems, including broken displays and busted hard drives, shows us that this model wasn’t quite fully baked.

CNET has Apple saying that they apologize for the inconvenience but there have been enough problems to warrant a clever problem tracking website along with a Flash web app for display testing.

Anyone else having problems?
