Sony will show off a crazy 360 stereoscopic display that essentially places a 3D figure inside a little tube and allows it to be viewed from all angles. The device, to be shown in Tokyo on October 22 (SER-KAAAAN! Go to this!) has a 96×128 resolution and 24-bit color palette.

It’s just a prototype but this is the kind of 3D I can stand behind. Or walk around. Or sit next to.
