• Table-flipping simulator lets you practice throwing dinnertime tantrums

    Friday, September 18th, 2009

Finally! It’s about time someone developed an arcade game that closely simulates a heated discussion wherein you pound your fists on a table before finally flipping the entire thing over.

    Per Kotaku:

“Japanese arcade game Cho Chabudai Gaeshi is a score attack game that lets players pound a soft table for combos and then upend it for the finishing move. Settings include a host club, a wedding party, an office and a Japanese style living room. So for example, in the living room stage, players bang on the table as their family complains more and more and finally flips over the table.”

The best thing about the video (besides the obvious) is that there appears to be multiple Cho Chabudai Gaeshi machines in the arcade, ensuring everyone gets a turn in a timely manner.
