Ta-da! I like to think of myself as a Mega Man II fan, but clearly i’m mistaken. I’m a Mega Man II poseur. The real fans spend 500 days linking 63,608 tiny rings together to make a pixel-perfect wall-hanging of all the major characters and items in the game. That’s not Metal Man’s best look, though.

metalman150x150There we go, that’s the Metal Man I know, love, and always defeat first because his weapon is so awesome. Interestingly, speedruns (the latest TAS clocks in at under 24 minutes) don’t use it much, probably because it reduces the game to a cake walk.

The chain wall hanging weighs 16 pounds, so it’s not inconceivable that I could borrow it and wear it to PAX.
