I like FIFA as much as the next guy, but, in my heart of hearts, I’m a PES guy. (I just finished a La Liga season with Barça about a week ago. Undefeated, normal mode. R-E-S-P-E-C-T.) So it’s good to see that Konami will introduce full 360-degree control in PES 10 . No more eight-way control, then.

This new control scheme will make an appearance in the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions, though PS3 owners will also be able to use the 360-degree control with the D-Pad.

Konami also talked up the game’s improved graphics, animation, new free kick system, etc. I don’t know what Konami does for the faces of the players, but some of them look nothing like the actual player. See Dani Alves. That looks nothing like the guy! (Sorry for the low-res on the game screenshot. Can’t be helped.)
