This, my friends, is the dawn of electronic music. That wonky guy with a guitar is Les Paul and the interviewer is Alistair Cooke and most of the interview is a joke but the real magic comes at the end when he shows Cooke how to create a multitrack recording live, in real time. You try doing a 24-track song with two take recorders while wearing a constricting suit. It’s tough!
