Transformers: an eye-roller with robot balls. G.I. Joe: on track to be one of the worst movies ever. And after they make this Voltron movie, they’ll just need a Rescue Rangers adaptation to complete the reduction of my childhood to tacky Hollywood garbage.

But don’t worry! According to producer Ted Koplar,

Unlike other robotic action movies, Voltron is the personification of the human spirit, a quality that will set this movie apart.

Actually, that explains a lot. Apparently, producers think robot lions joining together to destroy robeasts from the planet Doom is the personification of the human spirit.
