Tomorrow is National Donut Day. I love donuts. I feel no personal shame. Donuts and my body mesh well together. If I had an ideal food, it would be donuts. If you like donuts even half as much as I do, you’ll be happy to know that you can get a free donut at Dunkin’ Donuts and/or Krispy Kreme tomorrow. I’m sure you’ll be able to get other deals at your local donut shops as well.
With the Dunkin’ Donuts deal you have to buy a coffee to get the free donut, but the Krispy Kreme donut is free as in free. Now if you’re in the Portland, Maine area, here’s a fun fact for you: there’s a “gentleman’s club” called Platinum Plus that has its own donut shop with waitresses in various stages of undress.
I’ve never actually been in either the club or the donut shop but I hear they’re both pretty… um… well, let’s just say that the donut shop saves the strip club from mediocrity while, in turn, the strip club saves the donut shop from mediocrity. Either establishment on its own probably wouldn’t make it for long but the fact that the two co-exist makes it work somehow. But again, I’ve never been in either one so you’ll have to see for yourself.
Anyhoo, back to donuts. They’re delicious and you can get free or cheap ones tomorrow on National Donut Day. That is all.
