3drealms
In perhaps the most expected event of all time, 3D Realms — developer of the now-terminally delayed Duke Nukem Foreverappears to have been shut down. What this means for the long, long, looong-awaited Duke Nukem game is unclear — it’d be a great property to buy up and just finish, but who knows whether that will really happen. This news is unconfirmed but man, I’d really be surprised if it wasn’t true.

The forums are down but they’re not answering phonecalls, so we’ll just have to sit tight. I’m betting it’s true, so let’s take a moment to think about what could have been. Actually, we’ve been doing that for a decade now so let’s just move on.
