Isn’t the point of Facebook that it originally replaced the “facebook” printed on college campuses? It’s supposed to be a place to put information, photos, basically a collection of personal homepages. Regardless of how we use it now, it’s core value is information storage, not real-time info streams.

But don’t want it all interconnected. Get the diff? probably not. I have friends in different places because they are different kinds of friends, doing different things and interested in different topics.
