    The highly anticipated Transformers 2 – Revenge of the Fallen is just around the corner and it seems Japan can’t wait to see it as well. Takara Tomy is introducing two of the most popular Transformers, Optimus Prime and Bumbleebee, as so-called Robo-Qs. As a reminder, the Robo-Qs are the smallest two-legged robots available. And they are adorable.

    Just like the conventional models, the Transformer versions are 3.4 centimeters high and weigh just 12 grams. They can walk around detecting obstacles through built-in infrared sensors for 5 minutes before they need to be recharged.

    Dubbed Robo-Q T/F Movie Bumblee and Robo-Q T/F Movie Optimus Prime, both mini robots will be available only in Japan from May. Priced at $42, they are $7 more expensive than other Robo-Qs, but that is OK as the licenses surely don’t come for free.
