Social media features are becoming increasingly popular in CRMs. SalesForce.com recently launched Twitter integration and there are several collaborative enterprise software providers offering innovative wiki products in the enterprise space. eTouch System’s SamePage, an enterprise wiki, can now be deployed within Force.com AppExchange from SalesForce.com.

SamePage’s wiki lets employees collaborate and share ideas, news, information in a central place. Currently Alcatel-Lucent, NASA, Citrix, Hestia, Teradyne, Siemens, NY State Unified Court System and ADP are all using SamePage to as a space for employees to collaborate on projects, solve problems, or create pages where ideas and advice can be read by colleagues. SamePage also lets users publish content to a customizable blog.

Built using the Force.com platform, SamePage is immediately available for deployment on the Force.com AppExchange. SamePage costs $100 per month for up to 20 users, $200 for 21 to 50 users and $400 for up to 100 users.

MindTouch also offers a similar wiki platform for enterprises that connects to SalesForce’s CRM, SugarCRM and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

      Thanks for the mention.

Here’s a brief demo video of MindTouch with Salesforce integration: http://www.viddler.com/explore/MindTouch/videos/42/

Note all objects in Salesforce can be queried from MindTouch and remixed within MindTouch with data from enterprise systems, web-services, databases, etc.. This MindTouch capability is popular and enables sales/marketing teams to: save money on CRM licenses, provide robust reporting and Business Intelligence from across CRM, Financials, Social Networking, Twitter, Blogosphere, etc…, automate proposal generation and more.

I would be remiss if I did not mention that you can download the free and libre open source MindTouch edition at http://www.MindTouch.com.

      Enjoy the bits! :-)
