Trusted Places relaunches

Perhaps spooked by increasing competition in the UK, what with Yelp launching here, Trusted Places has relaunched its site, with a few new twists, one of which is cold hard cash.

The site is now offering users £50 for every business that they refer to the site that signs up to a premium account. The business in turn gets £40 of advertising for free.

There’s also a simplified design it’s also introducing quick reviews, where a user can write a short message and then the site matches that with potential locations. The site also now integrates with Facebook connect and is approaching a million uniques a month, they say.
