Best Buy has a 22-inch Acer monitor in the outlet section for $49.99 plus $15 for shipping. I don’t know if it’s a mistake or if that’s the actual price but I just ordered one. They estimated my arrival date at after March 15th due to the incredible backorder that’s been caused by the low price so we’ll see if they actually send it out or if I get a “Whoopsie-daisies, we’re canceling your order” e-mail in a little while.

UPDATE: Bloops! It was indeed a price mistake. The price just went back up to $169.99 — did you order yours in time?

Specs:

• 22-inch LCD with 1680 x 1050 resolution
• 700:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness
• DVI and VGA inputs

So there’s no speakers and the contrast ratio and brightness are a bit on the low side but, hey, fifty bucks is fifty bucks.
