Though lots of money time and resources are being put into it but its viability is a big question mark. Why an ordinary PC user would allow the control of desktop to go in to the hands of someone else.

IBM’s offering is going to really help push some of the mainstream into the early-adopter group. It is great validation that cloud computing is here to stay. With an IBM SLAs around security, privacy and latency, more enterprises are going to feel that cloud computing is really usable relative to the Gen1 public cloud services.
