Looks like the guys at Valve wanted a certain level of realism in their zombie apocalypse game — aside from the whole “zombie apocalypse” bit. So they’ve based the pills in the game (“Pills here!”) on the generic Ibuprofen from Target. Clever.

I understand this is the norm in Japanese games and shows; major brand names are changed very slightly (Toyota becomes Toyoda) and they put it right in there.

I tried to get a better close-up, but all three sets of pills I came by got jacked by my AI teammates. Are you kidding me? Why weren’t they watching my back?
