What's so hard about the DTV switch, my grandparents get it?

dtv_trans_main_270The family and I stopped by our grandparents house for a visit yesterday. It was a nice trip and we had a great conversation about the upcoming DTV switch. They seem to get it.

Their one downstairs antenna TV now has DTV box and the other two run off of satellite. They called and got their coupon months ago. The TV doesn’t pick up as many stations and that confused them but the TV is rarely used so they really don’t care.

So what’s so hard about this switch? These folks are in their late 70′s and aren’t technically inclined, but they followed the instructions given by a local TV news station and did what they were suppose too. I’m proud of ‘em.
