NuevaSync still has one major advantage over Google Sync. It will sync multiple Google calendars. If you use Google Calendars extensively, it’s almost essential to categorize your items by creating multiple calendars. At this point, Google Sync’s client will only sync your default calendar for the Win Mobile client. NuevaSync’s free license will allow for up to 11 calendars. The pay version will allow even more.

I just checked the Google Sync video out, and Google Sync works with iPhones, Blackberries, Windows Mobile, and the Symian platform phones

hi…this isn’t working properly with my iPhone and Gmail……i’m only getting 6 of around 100 contacts…any ideas? thanks.

i only want the contacts. i’m set like this in nuevasync:

NuevaSync has been a great service and I have been using it since it was mentioned in this article. However Google just announced a native service which seems safer.

I am not a techie by any stretch, and was so disappointed with my new I Touch when it would not sync my Outlook calendar and contacts. This app is so easy, even I could do it! Barebones website, but has all of the info one needs to get this done. Thank you guys for seeing the need, and designing software to fill the need. It is truly magic to me. Works like a charm first time. Good on ya!

it supports not only Windows mobile, Symbian and Andriod but (more importantly?) J2ME phones as well.

I think it’s great, but it still won’t give me my contact groups. It says my groups will sync on the detailed status page but I sill can’t get them on the iPhone unless I go back and sync with outlook on a desktop. Still, this is almost everything I want in terms of maintaining a google office on the Internet and using my itouch as a PDA.

I’ve gone through every wish of Nuevasync users. Here is list of features you might be interested in to:

1. Auto Backup points and restore it to device, Google or as CSV data.

2. Support for Contacts + Groups, along with good editor.

3. Sync support with iCal.

Another features you may like:

1. Outlook support.
2. Contact Merging (Automatic), hence no duplicate contacts while you sync.
3. Contact support from Mac AddressBook.
4. Support for all devices who supports SyncML.
5. Anything else, you wish to have!
