windows-vista-logoYou know what Microsoft needs to do? Write off Vista totally and compensate everyone with an upgrade to Windows 7. Forget about the impending SP2 and refocus everyone into Windows 7 development. That being said, the next update for Vista might not drop until May or June and should bring some well needed feature upgrades. It’s still craptacular Vista in the end though.

Service Pack 2 should build in native Blu-ray burning and improved HD video playback. Plus, a few under the hood enhancement hopefully will be included which should improve WiFi and DirectX performance. Still, forget about Vista and focus the nerd herd into Windows 7 development. The beta is stellar and hopefully the finally version will be just as good.
