Sanyo Japan today unveiled its newest projector, the PDG-DHT100JL. Boasting 6,500 lumens, the device is the brightest among all 2-lamp full HD 1-chip DLP projectors on the market.

Next to the lumens power and it being full HD, the projector features wireless HD transmission up to 30 meters, an anti-dust “encapsulated optical engine”, two 330W UHP lamps, one HDMI port and a contrast ratio of 7,500:1.

Sanyo says they will produce 200 units monthly. The company hopes that next to home theater freaks, the digital advertising business and users of design or CAD applications will be interested in the device.

The projector goes on sale in Japan in March with an open price model. Sanyo hasn’t said yet if it’s ever going to be able outside Nippon.
