Oh, maaaan! Chex Quest. The game that introduced the FPS genre to an entire generation of children who’s parents wouldn’t let them play Doom. It’s one of the only games that managed to be nearly entirely driven by product placement (of cereal, no less) while somehow not sucking.

At some point, the creators of Chex Quest 1 and 2 began work on a third installment. Somewhere down the line, it was abandoned. A beta copy was posted to the internet, and the project went silent for right around 10 years. Until now..

Charles Jacobi, the original artist of the Chex Quest series, returned to the game to finish the job. Driven by the love of a fan community, he has released the finished game online for all to enjoy. As an added bonus, the download also includes enhanced versions of Chex Quest 1 and 2.

If you’re aching for a heavy hit of nostalgia, check it out. If you’ve never played either of the Chex Quest games, still – check it out. Hell, even if you hate all things Chex with a fiery passion and the only game you like is E.T for the Atari 2600, check it out.
