Looks like Logitech wants some of the consumer and professional headphone pie. The ware maker is already one of the top dogs in the accessory biz, but with the now-upcoming acquiation of Ultimate Ears for $34 million cash, Logitech is going to be able to have their pie and eat it too. This expansion seems like a great fit for Logitech’s lackluster headphone lineup. Immediate recognition: Ultimate Ear’s current products are already used by about 75% of touring rock stars. Immediate product line: Ultimate Ear’s gear start at $40 and can climb all the way to $1,200. No word on when we will see the new branded products, but we can’t wait.
