Who says that inflation is driving up the cost of everything? ‘Cause what we have here is a bona fide laptop-ish computer for less than a $100: the Jointech J-PRO JL7100. Sure, it might come from a company we haven’t heard of either, loaded with Windows CE 5.0, and sporting a 7-inch VGA screen, but it’s only a 100 bones. For those still with us, this little guy is equipped with a 400MHz core, 64 MB of ROM and RAM along with 3 USB 1.1 ports – lacks WiFi though. The only small issue we can see is the $99 price. Yeah, that’s for a bulk order.

According to The Subnotebook Blog, along with others on the ‘ol interweb, that price is only availble for orders of 10,000 or more. No word on the price for the rest of us, but we’re kind of thinking that once we hear it, we aren’t going to be interested.
