This September TechCrunch UK will be hosting TechCrunchTalk, an afternoon of discussion and debate about the trends in European start-ups, involving investors and key players, which will explore several themes, including:

• What’s the experience of raising venture capital for startups in Europe?
• What are the major trends in European tech startups?
• If Mobile 2.0 is the next big thing for Web 2.0, what next?

The afternoon discussion panels will be followed by an evening party with drinks and informal networking, as part of the official Seedcamp week event. There are no tickets on sale yet but you can pre-register your interest here.

What is it?
TechCrunchTalk is a TechCrunch curated discussion get-together for start-ups in Europe, which focuses on a number of current and relevant themes for the technology start-up community.

Its aim is to generate debate and a voice for the technology start-up community, to identify trends, themes, issues, challenges and developments within the community, the industry and the country-specific vs. pan-European environment.

It kicks off with an afternoon of discussing a pre-determined set of themes, with Mike Butcher, the editor of TechCrunch UK initiating and moderating the discussions, and finishes off with a great party.

The event will be organised by TwistedTree Event Ltd in association with rassami. Please email Petra Johansson for details on sponsorship packages.

Sponsorship opportunities include Gold, Silver, Bronze, Drinks, and Gift sponsors. There are also a limited number of table-top displays for start-ups to present their concepts during the networking party.

Where:
A central London venue to be announced.

Why should I be part of it?

If you are in the technology business, if you are a start-up and interested in cutting-edge ideas, if you are interested in meeting with entrepreneurs, VC’s and Angel investors, and if you read TechCrunch UK or TechCrunch.com regularly, then this is a great opportunity for you to be part of the community and make your voice heard, as well as get new ideas.

TechCrunch events, whether in the UK, US or in Europe are very popular, attended by decision makers, the venture community and dozens of members of the media.

The first TechCrunch UK event (TechCrunch Pitch!) was held in London on 10th July, which was sold out well in advance and a great success. Please see here for the full round-up of the event or go and check out the photos and videos.

For TechCrunchTalk, we have a limited capacity for attendees, so we are asking a nominal £15 cover charge to minimise no-shows.

There will be a limited number of tickets. You can sign up for pre-registration to be informed about when tickets go on sale. Please watch TechCrunch UK for further announcements.

How can I be part of it?
Tickets to the event are a nominal £15 per person – but only available to start-ups, VC’s and media.

We have a few sponsorship opportunities and demo tables available for companies to show off their products. If you are interested in supporting the event, please email Petra Johansson for details on sponsorship packages.

If you are a member of the press wanting to cover the event, please contact Rassami Hok Ljungberg.

Attendee identification will be checked at the door. Due to the likely strong demand for tickets, we regret tickets are not transferable and not refundable.
