Last 100 Tickets For Mobile Web Wars Roundtable On Sale. Announcing More Panelists

Update: This release of tickets has sold out.

Today, we are releasing the last 100 tickets to a roundtable debate I am hosting: Mobile Web Wars: Which Platform Will Win? To register for a ticket, sign up now. Our last release of tickets sold out in 5 minutes.

The Roundtable will be a freewheeling discussion about whether the mobile Web is finally here and which platform will win going forward. While the iPhone seems like a slam dunk right now, can older platforms like Nokia’s Symbian or Windows Mobile replicate its success? Does Apple have anything to fear from Google’s Android? To help answer these questions we have an amazing group of mobile startup CEOs, top iPhone app developers, and other technologists on the RoundTable. New additions to the Roundtable include:

David Rivas, Nokia, Vice President of Technology Management for S60 Software
Walt Doyle, CEO Ulocate
Tom Conrad, CTO Pandora
Greg Yardley, CEO of Pinch Media CEO
Bart Decrem, CEO of Tapulous
David Hornik, partner, August Capital
Jed Stremel, Director of Mobile at Facebook (replacing Joe Hewitt)
Guy Ben-Artzi, Founder of Real Dice and CEO of Mytopia
Jason Devitt, CEO of Skydeck
Gannon Hall, CMO of Kyte

They will join, the following panelists I’ve already announced:

Sam Altman, CEO of Loopt
Marc Davis, chief scientists of Yahoo’s mobile group
Omar Hamoui, CEO of AdMob
Richard Wong, partner at Accel

So it should be a great discussion, which will be covered on TechCrunch, and we are hoping to broadcast it live via Web video as well. I’m still looking for a few Android developers (why are they so hard to find?). Send me an email if you are a CEO or developer that is in love with Android. Also, Microsoft, I need someone from Windows Mobile. Please get in touch.

The Roundtable will take place on July 25 at the Quadras Conference Center in Menlo Park, California. It will begin at 3:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m., just before our 3rd annual August Capital MeetUp. A ticket to the Roundtable also guarantees your admission to the August Capital MeetUp later that evening, which is sold out. We will donate 100% of the ticket proceeds to Malaria No More.

We are also seeking a few sponsors to help underwrite the cost of the Roundtable. Sponsors will receive tickets to the Roundtable, the August Capital MeetUp and prominent branding as hosts of our Roundtable discussion. We also have demo tables and other sponsorship opportunities specifically for the August Capital MeetUp. If you are interested in sponsorships, please contact Jeanne Logozzo or Heather Harde. If you are a blogger or member of the press wanting to cover the event, please contact Sarah Ross.

Attendee identification will be checked at the door. Due to the strong demand for tickets, we regret tickets are not transferable and not refundable. If you use your name to purchase multiple tickets, your guests must arrive with you to check in at the door.
