BridgeWave was founded almost 10 years ago, but has only recently become known for their high-end high-speed WiFi equipment and solutions. Today they announced that they have closed a Series D round of $10M lead by existing investor Intel Capital and co-lead by new investor Core Capital amongst other participants.

BridgeWave raised the new round to assist them in further establishing themselves as a Gigabit WiFi and 4G WiMax provider. The company currently provides a number of point to point wireless products, with speeds ranging from 100Mbit to a Gigabit and ranges beyond 6 kilometers, on both the 60Mhz and 80Mhz spectrums.
