I keep getting e-mails from GalleryPlayer, a company that sells hi-res artwork specifically for display on [plasma and LCD] HDTVs. (A starter pack costs $50.) The idea behind it is, instead of turning your TV off when not in use, you pop in an SD card filled with purdy pictures.

    Does anyone do that?

My TV doesn’t have the appropriate inputs to use the service, but I don’t know if I would in the first place. Don’t you worry about the life of your display?

    Just wonderin’.

Oh, and 2-1 to the ‘pool today. Though I’m rooting for Fenerbahçe to win it all. Always been an underdog guy.
