NextWeb – The end of the old web


NextWeb coverage: TechCrunch’s Erick Schonfeld opened the Next Web conference posing the question – what happens when you ‘blow up’ with the Web with new models? New models such as the widgetization of the web and de-centralised services which can live in many places across the web just not at home base are changing the ‘old’ web game. Advertising on the web is solidifying, but no-one knows how to make money when the massive disruption happens, and is happening right now. He also said we are seeing companies trying to tap into the market of ides, such as crowd-sourcing, and opening up your site to users, but also attempts to form markets out of ideas.
