Dwight Silverman posted a story on the Houston Chronicle’s chron.com about the eee and its odd hold on the geek psyche. While I personally am tired of it, he and his Texan buddies fawned over it like a new foal, running it through its paces and even using it to clear brush on their acres and acres of rugged yet plentiful farmland.

They also found that women like to put it in their purses and that the trackpad is too small for Silverman’s big, Texas-sized fingers. Not huge news, but it’s fun to see folks genuinely excited about this thing.
