• 'Building Communities and Augmented Reality' Star Wars exhibit

swbug.jpgThis was a rather interesting section of the Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination exhibit at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. From our press materials; “Visitors build a spaceport, moisture farm community and walled Jawa town. Placing cards on a table – the physical landscape – a computer superimposes a building on a site in virtual reality and real time.”

It was kind of a Sony EyeToy meets Microsoft Surface meets Sim City meets Settlers of Catan. The kids were going nuts for this thing. They looked like me at a Milli Vanilli concert back in the day. It was intergalactical, my main man.
