Not sure if this is legit, but apparently the 80GB version of the PS3 is going to be pulled off the shelves on or before January 28th. Best Buy is purportedly only going to be carrying the 40GB version. Rumors of a $299 PS3 are continuing to swirl after this internal letter was leaked. Oh, and what the heck does it mean when it says there isn’t a version that’s compatible with the PS2?
