Cloverfield: Sucks or really sucks?

It’s a long holiday weekend, you guys might be going to the movies and you might go watch Cloverfield and then want to warn others. Tell us what you thought because I couldn’t stand it. Feel free to spoil the whole thing in comments because there wasn’t much to spoil — except that I actually would have preferred to either see 27 Dresses instead or, barring that, stab out my eyes with a frozen carrot.
