Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii has been delayed a month to Sunday, March 9th. Ever the diplomat, the game’s director Sakurai-san said, “I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.”
The Japanese version of the game has also been delayed, but only by a week. Better late than never but hopefully this is just an isolated incident. This game’s been on a lot of people’s radar screens for a while so perhaps the development team just wants to be extra cautious and make sure all the kinks are worked out before the game ships.
